GLimpse into my world

From an international career to living with monks - and finding the way back to myself.
i'm Rebeka - my story

hello, i'm rebeka

How does an exciting international career end in burnout and eventually living with monks? That’s the journey that shaped my work.

For years, I was focused on achieving, improving, and becoming more, until I realized the deeper work lay in the opposite: slowing down, unlearning, and letting go. Following burnout, I spent almost a year living with monks, an experience that profoundly shifted my perspective on life. It also taught me that it isn’t more achievements, certificates or titles we need, but deeper, embodied knowledge that ripens into wisdom through lived experience.

Today, I work as a yoga instructor, retreat facilitator and holistic well-being practitioner based in the stillness of the Scottish countryside. What gives me my strongest sense of purpose is supporting others as they navigate their own paths of transformation.

A LIFE SHAPED BY EXPERIENCE

My approach to healing and well-being is entirely grounded in lived experience. I believe in creating a safe space where you can discover your own truth on your own terms – always through direct practice, never through dogma or mere theory.

Monastic life & Timeless practice

I lived with monks for nearly a year. My first deep dive into silence began much earlier, at age 21 with a 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat in Taiwan. I’ve also spent months on a Daoist mountain in China, trained in yoga, healing and martial arts for many years.

True integration takes time, it cannot be rushed. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 14 years, meditating daily for over 10 years and teaching for over 8 years. For me, this is a lifelong journey of self-discovery that forms the foundation of my life philosophy and work.

I understand what it feels like to experience deep exhaustion, disconnection, and lack of energy. My work is rooted in my own journey of navigating and healing from burnout, PTSD, PCOS, and a transformational near-death experience. I know the way back to inner peace and vitality, and I am here to walk it with you.

Nature is my ultimate happy place. Whether I am recharging through the high energy of kitesurfing and sea kayaking, or finding quiet joy in growing organic food, planting trees, and taking slow forest walks, immersion in the natural world is vital to how I process, reflect, and restore.

My journey has taken me across different countries, philosophies and introduced me to 7 languages, giving me a deeply inclusive, global perspective. I love connecting with people from all walks of life. My diverse journey allows me to weave multicultural wisdom into my practice, creating a welcoming, safe space where anyone – regardless of their story – can feel seen and understood.

My Philosophy

The Importance of the Pause

I believe each one of us carries a unique gift – but in a world that moves fast and demands more, it’s easy to lose touch with it. We live in a collective state of constant doing and even at our best, we become tired, disconnected, and overwhelmed.

Beneath the stress, noise and distraction, there is a quieter place within us all: one rooted in peace and quiet joy.

Creating space to pause is not a luxury – it is essential.
Through stillness and time in nature, my retreats offer a sanctuary where you can step away, reset, and realign. Leave feeling clearer, more energised, and more connected to your purpose.

01.
